Privacy policy

Information processed

• Account information such as email, authentication identifier and saved studio preferences.
• Provider API keys, voice identifiers, connected-platform identifiers and authorization tokens needed for requested connections. Saved provider credentials are encrypted server-side.
• Audience usernames/identifiers, questions, relevant chat and paid-event details, reading balances, queue records, generated answers and saved reading audio.
• Subscription identifiers, plan, status and billing-event records. Card details are handled by Lemon Squeezy and its payment processors, not stored by the app.
• Usage counters, operational logs and technical request information needed to operate, troubleshoot and protect the service.

How it is used

We use this information to authenticate users, save studios, connect audiences, process questions and balances, generate and play requested readings, enforce usage/subscription limits, provide support and prevent abuse. Depending on applicable law, processing is based on providing the requested service, legitimate operational/security interests, legal obligations, or consent where required.

Service providers and sharing

We use Supabase for accounts and data storage, Netlify for the website and server functions, Fly.io for connection workers, and Resend for authentication email. Lemon Squeezy processes subscription purchases. Google or Apple may process sign-in when enabled and chosen.

When you request AI text, the question and relevant reading context are sent to OpenAI using your connected key. When voice is requested, reading text and your selected voice identifier are sent to ElevenLabs. TikTok connections use Euler Stream; connected platforms receive the requests needed for their integrations. These services process data under their own terms and policies and may operate in other countries. See the Google Privacy Policy, OpenAI Privacy Policy and ElevenLabs Privacy Policy. You can revoke Google account permissions at Google account permissions; request removal of app-held data through our support email.

Readings and viewer names may be visible in your broadcast if you choose to display them. We do not sell personal information or use advertising trackers in the studio. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect the service and its users.

Browser storage and retention

The app uses browser storage for sign-in state and local preferences such as character, studio name and background. Clearing that storage may sign you out or remove local settings. Account and studio data remain while needed to operate your account. Reading and transaction records are retained for replay, balance tracking, support and billing; automatic expiration is not currently implemented for all records. Contact us to request deletion. Some billing, security or legally required records and backups may remain as necessary.

Choices and requests

You can remove saved AI/voice keys in Settings and disconnect platform connections. You may also revoke authorization through the provider. Contact us to request access, correction, export or deletion of your information, or to exercise applicable privacy rights. We may verify ownership before acting. Depending on your location you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Creators and viewers

Creators must explain their collection and display of audience questions and paid-event data and comply with platform rules. Viewers can contact the broadcasting creator or our support to ask about information processed in the studio. Do not submit sensitive information. The creator-account service is intended for adults, not children.

Security and changes

We use account access controls and encrypted credential storage, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected exposure promptly and revoke affected keys at the provider. We will update this page when practices change and communicate material changes where appropriate.
